Dr James had changed my life, I came into his office 4 months ago after my car accident and have 3 herniated disc that needs repaired. I had my surgery 3 days ago and he has changed my life. I really couldn’t stand for over 30 mins without so much pain. I. Already feeling so good. He has amazing bed side manners and answers all my question and even calmed me down before my surgery. I would recommend him to everyone:

For the person who said the $2 million settlement was a 19 year old, you are incorrect. That one was my mother. The 19 year old case settled years before she went under the knife. My mother is A SECOND person whose life was ruined by Dr. James. My mother walked in to the hospital with a pinched nerve and Dr. James broke her back on the operating table and tried to send us home the next day. Dr. James did my back surgery . My experience was very positive. I would highly recommend him to everyone who suffers from chronic pain .

I had low back surgery with this Dr. twelve Years ago. The surgery went well, but he injured the nerve that gives me balance. I have suffered serious falls, as I have NO balance! He has changed my life in so many ways! He also injured my sacral nerve leading to many embarrassing situations ! I believe he was divorcing his wife and marrying his nurse. He seemed uptight and I was the victum of his state of mind. Resurgents let him go, and I was surprised he is back doing surgery in Gainesville.

Well, we discovered that Dr Stephen B James is quite the character and after our findings on this link Corrupt Doctors Beware Health Blog we opted out of our surgery with him and recommend you run and run fast away from this Doctor. As you can see on his profile he has many lawsuits filed against him.

Before you trust your health to Dr James plz look at his profile on GA Composite State Board (gov. physician profile). I am sure glad I did before I allowed him to do spinal surgery on me. 2014 he had a $2mil settlement & $400k suit just this past Apr 2018. I know that the $2mil suit was due to ignoring an alarm during surgery on a 19yr old athlete. The result - young man came out paralyzed from waist down. Dr James wanted to do a completely inappropriate type of surgery on my spine. Beware!!

Dr.James was very nice. I could not have been more happy with my appointments. He and his staff took great care of back pain.

Dr. James has helped review my spinal condition and MRI's. He has advised me on physical therapy and non operative treatments. I would trust him to perform surgery if my pain does not get better. He has an excellent bedside/office manner and explained my condition thoroughly. Would recommend him.

I saw Dr.James and could not be more happy with the care I received. He was able to preform a procedure on me and my pain is finally gone! His bedside manor is outstanding. He always spent plenty of time with me for all questions I had. He is now seeing several family members and they are also very happy.
