Such a great doctor with a great staff! Everyone is always helpful and positive which you don't usually find in medical offices.
Dr. Chagarus spared my wife from an unnecessary breast surgery. Two other surgeons wanted to do surgery and he determined it was not needed. She sees her annually for a checkup and it's been 8 years now that she has a clean bill of health. He is the most down to earth and dedicated person. I am Grateful to have Dr. Chagarus as our go to guy.
Dr.Chagares is a one of a kind physician who helped making my decision to have a double mastectomy a much easier process. Dr. Chagares was the first doctor I saw after my diagnosis of invasive lobular carcinoma. He explained my surgical options with the risks and benefits clearly described. His compassionate, caring, affable personality aided in not only making my surgical decision but made it clear he was my choice for a surgeon as well.
Dr Chagares is 5 stars .. All the way! I had an emergency appendectomy at Riverview and I was blessed that Dr C was on call that day.. I have had no complications .. Previously I was in pain for a year ! Even after tests, & ultrasounds, my other doctors could not detect acute appendicitis. I was in so much pain before my surgery, but Dr C made me laugh! Had a first appointment With Dr Chagares today. WOW! the office staff was exceptional! They all greeted both of us as soon as we walked in. We were taken back within minutes. Dr came in shortly after and did not rush us out. Answered all questions and was very professional while maintaining a warm and friendly personality. He let us know that his services were not needed and referred us to an ortho surgeon. If we ever need this type of surgery, he is the first one to call. thank you!!

What a wonderful presentation on 'Women's Medical Issues' Dr. Chagaras gave to a group of ladies at our church, in January of this year! You can tell by his manner of conversation, and warm personality that he really respects women, which is so refreshing! He answered any and all questions in a way that was easy to understand, never condescending, and with genuine care. If I ever have a need for a Dr. because of a serious issue, I will RUN to his practice! I highly recommend him as a speaker for ladies groups such as we had!... read more
