Flew in from Fort Myers for my appointment on Monday. Called in the morning from my hotel and after being on hold for 30 minutes was told my appointment was canceled. In disbelief was told the office notes said they tried to call but they verified they didnt leave a message. I have been a patient for over 10 years and was told I need to start over with a general ENT. I am out over $1500.00.Extremely disappointed know my flight back tomorrow results in a total waste of time and money.
Literally the best! She pretty much helped save my life. A year ago today I had finally had my appointment to see the surgeon to remove the tumor in which the ENT thought was a cholesteatoma until… I went to Sentara Princess Anne and met Dr. Moody who is a SME for ENT. The moment she started to look in my ear and saw the debris and how she couldn’t see my eardrum, she immediately said she wanted me at SNGH for a biopsy that Friday. I liked Dr. Moody. I don't like the nurse that apparently messed up on making my appointment many months ago. We discussed my appointment very thoroughly because I couldn't make a lot of days. I don't like the receptionist today that couldn't even look me in the eye when she said you have no appointment." The worst thing about a great doctor is when the people around them don't reflect that. That being said, I would recommend this doctor but I would be very careful about all the other staff members.
