SxS is a wonderful organization with many caring professionals and a unique mix of community and independent living. I experienced life there as both a resident and later through their outreach services. I had my own one-bedroom apartment as a resident, and attended weekly community dinners through the program, along with other rotating groups. This enabled me to build social and life skills such as cooking. Two of my favorite groups were the music/drumming group, and the poetry group. My case managers consistently provided ... read more
