Step 1 Credit is great at what they do!! They disputed 25 of my negative items, and successfully got 22 removed. To say they're good is and understatement, they're tremendous!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to better their credit. I am more than satisfied with the work they completed.
I subscribed to Step 1 Credit after seeing the add. I asked many questions about the level of service that was offered. They explained to me that they could definitely help with the issues I had regarding credit. The initial amount to be deducted was less than the monthly recurring amount of 119.00. After 6 months credit score changed very little. Needed help with a mortgage that is on my credit and the house has been sold for over 3 years. Sent information and nothing was done to resolve. My sales person was not sincere with getting this resolved and is no longer with the company. Now this mortgage company said they would take a buy out of 16000 to settle mortgage. Step1 didn't deliver!
I am more than disgusted with this company. I have been paying for several months with no follow through or communication from this company. Now my credit score has dropped 61 points since last month. Empty promises to fix my credit. I can do better by myself. I hope anyone that deals with this company doesn't have the same experience that I have had. Expensive lesson learned!!!
I have been charged $678.60 by Step 1 Credit and have nothing to show for it. They represent on their website they average 25 deletions per customer and say they have had 1 deletion on my bureaus in 7+ months - a representation I am in dispute. I'm a realtor and have personally used Step 1 Credit. I wanted a good credit repair company that I could refer my clients to for help. Step 1 Credit did a fantastic job for me so I felt comfortable referring my clientele to them for help. I have sent several of my clients to them and everyone has had a very good experience with them.
Step1 credit has been great for me. They helped me credit so much and I will continue to work with them.
I was referred to Step 1 Credit by my sister. I have had all the negatives deleted from my reports. I can now buy a home and am very happy I signed up with Step 1.
