Not what I expected to find in Oxford, but I loved it!
Gina was our waitress and she was so helpful. She gave me the rundown and n the beer menu and recommended some excellent dishes we enjoyed. Very cool place!
Their schnitzel is excellent. And you can't beat the selection of German beers. If you can, go on Thursday and the schnitzel dinner is only$12. Can't beat that!
Stopped here for lunch while in Oxford. I as excited to find such a cool looking, somewhat hidden spot with a great German atmosphere. Looking back O should stuck with classic German fare and a pint but the Chicken and Waffles with hot honey sounded to good to pass up. It is one of my favorite dishes. I’d recommend the restaurant drop this off the menu. It all tasted burnt, the chicken, the waffle, and the hot honey. I had a few bites and decided that was enough.
