John is the most professional and skilled surgeon I've ever seen. My dad suffered a major heart attack and was assigned Dr Steinberg in 2016. From the moment I met him it was obvious this dr was exceptional, and from the very first moment be it consultation, pre surgery to post , he was on top of everything. I pray no one goes thru this with a family member but cox hospital has in my opinion the best cardiologist I've witnessed. God bless Dr Steinberg
Recently had aortic valve replacement done by Dr. Steinberg. He is an excellent surgeon, very personable. He discussed the procedure in depth, explained options, and answered all our questions in a manner a lay person like myself could easily understand. Without doubt he saved and extended my life and I would highly recommend both he and his staff.
I was recently faced with a scary experience. Dr Steinberg was fabulous and made me feel safe. I had to have surgery and he was very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and patient with my husband and I and answered all of our questions. I felt like I was in excellent hands with him and he made a scary experience not quite so bad. Thank you Dr Steinberg for being a wonderful physician and person.
Dr. Steinberg saved my husband's life in 2007. His efforts along with the rest of the staff were of the highest quality. When doing follow up visits in his office he took lots of time to go over all that had happened and what to expect. Sweet guy!
Dr. Steinberg may be very good at what he does, but he has absolutely no bedside manners. He is harsh, unapproachable and almost insulting to patient and family.
