Do not bother. She is a nightmare.
Dr. Annie Steinberg is a brilliant psychiatrist and a compassionate person, who truly understands human behavior and the underpinnings of one’s psyche. I highly recommend her.
If there were more stars - I would keep going! Dr. Steinberg has worked with our family for the past nine years. We have three children with extensive mental health and educational needs and she has supported us in the most amazing way - both medically and from a therapeutic perspective. She is a brilliant doctor, but more than her professional practice - there are very few people who truly care the way she There are not enough acelades to describe the gratitude and debt we feel towards her.
Dr. Steinberg is a wonderful adult psychiatrist, for both medication management and psychotherapy. Her kind, supportive, and direct approach is comforting and engaging. She is also very thoughtful and careful with medication prescribing. I am thankful for Dr. Steinberg's intervention and guidance during a very difficult period in my life.
Steinberg was working with my 16 year old daughter at a critical time in my daughter's life. I have since found out that Steinberg told my daughter some terrible things - that my daughter would not be okay if she didn't keep seeing her, that Steinberg knew my daughter was troubled as soon as she saw her - and more - I have no reason to note more than those comments, they are telling enough. I would not take my child to see Steinberg knowing what I now know.
I find Dr. Steinberg to be very professional and informed. She is also very caring of her patients. I say this based on her work with my children. The prior reviewer seems to be forming an opinion based upon a phone call alone.
I would not recommend anyone to Dr. Strindberg she is very cold, unprofessional and does not want to be bothered. I reported her to my insurance and this is just from a phone call.
