I've been a patient of Digestive Disease Consultants and Dr. Craig Stein for well over ten years. He used to be the most compassionate and fantastic doctor. I'm sorry to say that these days he's cold, callous, condescending and dismissive to the point of insulting. The last few times I went to him even my husband commented on his attitude. His office is also callous, caring more about dollar signs then their patients. If you have to cancel an appt, even with more than adequate notice, they may drop you as a patient. Dr. Stein is excellent. He was so very thorough and kind. Staff is great.
Dr Stein is very easy to communicate with. I saw him 5 years ago for a colonoscopy and definitely will trust him with my next one. I told him I don't do anesthesia very well and he explained all of my options and I feel very comfortable and trust that he will respect my wishes while making sure that it is a safe and easy procedure for me. I would highly recommend Dr Stein to everyone.
I have one of Dr. Steins patient for about 4 years. He has always explained things to me in terms that are easy understand. He is direct with instructions and very knowledgeable in his field. He makes you feel at ease
