A palette of soothing blues and greens reflect the colors of Puget Sound, visible through the front windows of this upscale diner next to Post Alley. Rows of colorful fishing lures encased in plastic separate booths for privacy, but the atmosphere is casual and festive. Chrome stools look into the kitchen, and a long bar encourages cocktails with camaraderie. Chef Davis's time in New Orleans informs such offerings as hominy cakes, gumbo and poutine. The lump Dungeness crab cake is one of the best in town, and desserts like A... read more

We had an absolutely delicious lunch at the Steelhead Diner today. The food was beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. My husband and I are both cooks, as in we love to create good food. (in other words, we are fussy about the restaurants we choose.) We will definitely be back to your wonderful restaurant.
My experience was bittersweet, but turn out for the best. We went with my husband to have a romantic lunch and service run slow because the place was busy. Hi Karina. Thanks for coming back and then for writing this review! We appreciate the second chance.
Had appetizers and wine. Simple enough but so very yum. Great stuff who go the extra mile. The seafood here is out of this world. First night in Seattle was made great here.
The menu is always great and the food never lets you down - don't miss if you are in Seattle
Consistently excellent food from an inventive and eclectic Pacific NW menu. Kitchen and front-of-the-house staffs are on top of it. Chef Anthony and his whole line rock.
Some of the best service we've had for any restaurant. The food was great and the chef even made something special for the hubs. It will be one of the highlights of our Seattle trip.
Amazing food and the staff is beyond awesome. Steelhead is on my list of must see places in Seattle.
Don't wait in line for a bread bowl of chowder, come upstairs. Absolutely awesome
The food was amazing and the staff was all so nice and friendly. We had a great time talking with John, our server, who helped make this an excellent experience. I definitely recommend the gumbo!
