About this business

A palette of soothing blues and greens reflect the colors of Puget Sound, visible through the front windows of this upscale diner next to Post Alley. Rows of colorful fishing lures encased in plastic separate booths for privacy, but the atmosphere is casual and festive. Chrome stools look into the kitchen, and a long bar encourages cocktails with camaraderie. Chef Davis's time in New Orleans informs such offerings as hominy cakes, gumbo and poutine. The lump Dungeness crab cake is one of the best in town, and desserts like A... read more

We just had a family lunch for 8 plus our 6 month old nephew. The service was friendly and prompt, and we enjoyed all the food across the board. Their fish and chips were amazing, with crisp and light beer batter crust. I need to go back and have a lighter meal so I can try dessert. The Theo Chocolate pecan pie sounds divine. Great spot for lunch or dinner at the Pike Place Market! Highly recommend.

I made a reservation for four for a Saturday evening and when we arrived there were several open tables but they seated us in the back corner by the service entrance. And it appeared as though walk-in guests were receiving much better seats in the dining room. I asked if we could move, but was told they were full. Other than that, the food and drink were wonderful.

The clam chowder was great...nice consistency while avoiding that thick paste like texture of many clam chowders. It was also served HOT, with truffle oil on top. The salmon on a bed of polenta was wonderful.
