I had a Steele Bros representative out to the house to look at our furnace. He was timely and went right to work. Within a short time the problem was solved. After he took care of the immediate problem Luis spent time instructing me in ways I can improve maintenance and answering a multitude of questions I had. He was polite at all times and never made me feel rushed. I will be using this company for all my HVAC issues in the future.
We have purchased and serviced our furnace and AC unit from Steele Bros, and have always been happy with their service. Our heater was out yesterday (18 degrees outside) and the tech was able to be there within an hour. Diagnosed the problem as a bad "hot surface igniter" for which he had a replacement with him in his truck. $80 for service call and $175 for the part. $255 total for less than one hour. I looked up the retail cost of the surface igniter, $15 retail. So a markup of 100x cost. I'll find someone else from now on... read more
