Great service. Great people. We had an emergency situation that required a surgery pretty quickly. Dr. Bob and Dr. Horner were very informative about the process as well as listened to our concerns. Together we were able to make a good decision and feel comfortable about it. Surgical work was perfect, sutures look fabulous. All in all great vet to work with and affordable. Very happy and Thankful that my baby is doing well and safe. They are wonderful.
This vet is one of the best I've been too. It's family owned and you truly feel the love along with compassion. They are so sweet. My cat isn't even upset when she had to have vet visits, she gets nothing but love . The techs are fantastic and Dr. Mihalovich is one of a kind doctor with a heart of gold. Love this clinic.
Dr. Bob is one of the nicest men you'll ever meet. Some of the things people say about him here are disgusting. If you've ever met him, you would know he would never do them. The entire staff at Steel Vet is knowledgeable and cares for the pet's wellbeing. It's ridiculous how Vets have to deal with review bombing anytime something bad happens to a pet. Especially when most of the time it could have been avoided if the owner would have come in earlier. I'd recommend Steel Vet to anyone seeking good medical care for their pet.
Great service, great people. Dr. Mihalovich is a wonderful person who seems to really care for his patients
Was with Dr. Mihalvich since he worked out of his father's garage...long time. Took a cat in for some problems,,, did bloodwork, rehydrated and x ray. X-ray showed something suspicious.(possible string around intestine). It was. Wednesday so since they are closed Thursday. Told to call Friday morning. If this happens to your cats intestines, it is emergency surgery. Told me that I may have to wait till Monday for x ray results. Me, being hysterical for the health of the cat lost my composure. Said intestines may be being cut... read more
Took a young, year old kitten to this joker to be neutered. The kitten was healthy. Believe it or not - the kitten just died while Mihalovich was operating on him. Vet called me and told me. I said to him, "You killed my cat. What did you do?????" Went down to get my kitty's body, and Mihalovich stormed out of the back and told me to get the hell out and never come back. Thinks he is a ju jitsu expert, so he was doing his best Chuck Norris impression and dancing around the room like the moron he is. He is worthless and ... read more
Absolutely a great veterinarian , he saw both of my shitzus while we were in town working and we will always go back if we need help again !
So 9/14/2021 was my first time at this vet. I was charged $17.00 without my asking for a ketten reavel. Has anyone else been charged any amount for such a thing?
I just want to give everyone a heads about Steele valley vet, in Lone Pine. I took my 10 year old dog here in the end of May, with the suspicion of having cushings disease. My dog was drinking CUPS AND CUPS of water. And urinating frequently. (Cushings disease is the adrenal gland creating too much cortisol (stress hormone) and in tern, makes him pant, drink water.) The vet (Dr. Horner) disregarded that thought and immediately stated he was in congestive heart failure. That he needed blood work and xrays done immediatel... read more
