We had a Stearns Electric project go right through our front yard and through some mature trees. I was concerned about any ill effects on the trees. Each phone call I made was handled with caring and understanding. Eventually a Stearns Electric employee was in my yard explaining the process to set my mind at ease. That would never have happened with a big electric company. I appreciate the excellent customer service. Thank you.
Stearns Electric sure seems like a very incompetent utility company. I wish I was back with NSP!! I got a wet basement this morning because it took Stearns Electric over 12 hours to fix an outage that affected a portion of Sartell last night. There was no communication with us the customers, no estimated time of fixing the problem. We just sat in the dark watching the water level come up over the basement carpet. Very frustrating!
