Food is yummy and the service is good. Make a reservation before you go, even mid week. They seated us in the very back corner, even though there were available tables in the other part of the dining room.
I was there for dinner with my wife. As mentioned in another review, they were very busy and the room was full of people having a lot of fun. Living in McCall i am used to the thousands of visitors that come to our town to live it up. We enjoyed meeting some new people sitting near us, enjoyed some wonderful "Cakebread" cab and had a great dinner! I recommend Steamers to anyone that is fun loving, social and not in a particular hurry
We dined here this summer. The chef is excellent. Our dinner was superb.
I’m not one to leave a bad review but this place was terrible. My husband and I were sat next to a table full of drunk people screaming. We could not hear each other. We both had the Cajun steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables and a side salad the food was very mediocre. We sat and ordered 20 minutes before a few other couples and our food came out 15 minutes after their food came. Service was awful. I don’t have a good thing to say. Very disappointed. Completely overpriced.
This place is great! The service is on par for the wonderfully prepared food.
Food was great! Our appetizer order of steamed clams was forgotten but the waitress immediately apologized and tried to offer us a free dessert (as our meal had already been served). We passed only because we were so stuffed! Will definitely go back. It's wise to make reservations ahead of time, they're super busy!
Great food, great service! We'll definitely go back next time we're in McCall.
