I’ve traveled a lot and had a lot of BBQ. Steamboat is the best I’ve had save Kansas City. Brisket and burnt ends are always masterfully cooked with gorgeous smoke rings. They do an excellent job preparing it so the fat melts in and enhances the meat without being a “fatty” brisket. Restaurant does get very crowded (for good reason!), so call ahead and carryout to beat the lines. A true gem in the Chicagoland dining scene
Barbecue is amazing.. so flavorful
literal trash. only thing good was the wings. portions suck. burnt ends are not burnt ends. fried pickles not fresh. worker just filled the bbq bottles with out washing or switching out last time i checked thats how you get maggots. wont be back will def stick to sharkos

unassuming from the outside but upon entering a wonderful aroma of smoke from the various foods being slowly roasted. the seating area is quite small and the crowd in line waiting their turn at the order window was not long. a cooler in back with a large variety of root beers. I had the short ribs with corn and bread pudding. everything delicious I'll be back to try other menu items.
This breaks my heart because I've been one of your biggest supporters. Drove over an hour to enjoy our favorite BBQ place. Walked in and the floor was slippery as an ice skating rink, including the bathroom floor. Then, ready for a nice delicious slab of ribs (it was about 11:45 am) and there were no ribs to be had. (Last few times you were out of something that we usually order, again there at lunchtime). Sorry, but we won't be making that drive anymore. And we won't be recommending your place anymore. 5 stars Just plain the best pulled pork in Chicago maybe in Midwest
Filthy dirty Place! Just nasty! Tables were all dirty, floor was dirty with napkins and plastic baskets laying on the floor.Pulled pork sandwich was lukewarm and the bun was ice cold! I complained but the staff doesn’t seem to care. I won’t be back!
