Our first visit to Steak & Grape for our anniversary dinner was very rewarding, and a surprise find here in Bakersfield. We enjoyed our waitress who was 'expecting a baby'' but that did not stop her from giving us superb service. We brought a bottle of wine with us and she didn't charge us a corking fee! We dinned on some of the best steak and lobster that one can obtain without having to go to the coast. This place doesn't make Hispanic people feel welcome.. We been waiting for a hamburger 40 min.. And still waiting! Never coming back and I will tell all my friends not to come to this place..

Kelly, I'm shocked to read this review, and I want to personally apologize that you felt this way. We opened our restaurant so that we could serve a great meal to everyone, regardless of their backgrounds. Still, you shouldn't have to wait 40+ minutes for your burger. Just to clarify, we had a fundraiser with burgers on the menu. Because of that, we had a much busier Tuesday than we're used to. Still, if you'd like to discuss this further, I'd be happy to do so. -Shai
Just bad service they made me wait outside!! It wasn't even that busy for 2 burgers they made us wait for 1hr and still waiting!! Smh
