Stepping into the Steak Corral in Whittier is like stepping back in time. The old-fashioned cowboy theme is charming, and unlike modern places, they truly focus on giving great service. The food is incredible, the prices are fair, and the quality is unmatched. It's been one of my absolute favorite spots for twenty years, holding some of my fondest childhood memories.
I loved the place! Even though it had AMAZINGLY good food, the atmosphere there wasnt exactly top notch. There was a lady with kids she couldn't control at all, they ran around the place and one of her children had dropped a piece of their meat, which made me slip. I do not believe this was the restaurants fault, but it was a bit chaotic. Other than that, it was amazing!
If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!!! Unless you want to eat a flavorless steak that's thinner than a slice of lunch meat do not come here. Somehow even though it was so thin my steak was still raw. I asked them to make it medium rare NOT EVEN CLOSE. the salad bar was very very mediocre and the soft drinks tasted like they were using way to little flavoring.
