Scammers. Unsolicited call, needed to verify information, including credit card info. Assured my mom no changes in charges, but charged card *****. Beware!!!
After putting my mom in a memory care facility, I found this item still in the box. She was getting charged monthly for 5 months on this device. Item was still in the box! Her phone had also been disconnected for weeks.I mentioned this and the customer service rep indicated my mom had activated it and there was nothing to be done until the item returned.I called to have her monthly charges stopped and they claimed I had to send the item back and they would stop charging. I offered to send document to prove POA and that she w... read more
Same complaint as everyone else someone with dementia was talk into getting this device in which they never used it was hard to cancel they said I had to return the device I returned the device and they said the device did not come in .We used their *** information I sent the entire complete device back they still charged us for the service. It was paid for from July 7th 2020 until April 19th 2022.The staff made incomplete note when each time we called in to cancel service.Senior should be aware.
Like many others -0 stars is what they deserve. My ************ as Alzheimers and is in no condition to make any decisions on her on but somehow they were able to get her bank account number from her and set her up an account. We found it on her table in the box and called about it since it was NEVER ACTIVATED you might would think they want charge you until it is thats not the case they charge you and then they charge you $75 to deactivate it! They should be ashamed of taking advantage of the elderly!
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My aunt someone how signed up with this company in April 2020. This was not the only medical alert system that she signed up for and/or had at the same time. In July 2020, I took over helping my aunt with her finances as I learned that a few years prior she had named me her power of attorney. We opened a new bank account and I contacted all of her creditors to update her billing info. At that time, the only medical alert provider that was taking funds from her account on a regular basis was... read more
Stay safe alert is a truly dreadful business. Ice cold help and eager to take money from vulnerable seniors. BEWARE. Unscrupulous organization.
scammers, take advantage of older generation. told my 58 yr. old father it was the same company he already had. Big Mistake!
They deceived my mother, thinking it was the same company she was using. I found out when I called the company she was using and was told that they never sent a new alert for her. Also, the alert doesn't hold a charge for very long either.
This company, targets and scams older individuals. Rude customer service when confronted about the issue.
Stay Safe Alert has a 1 star rating with 57 reviews.
