Scammers won't allow me to cancel and claim they have to call me back to do so. They never call back. Ill have to block them from charging our checking with my bank.
Tricked my 96-year-old mother with dementia, into giving financial info over phone, she received a unit and had no idea what it was, does not remember ordering the thing, started to show a $39 charge out of her checking account every month, called company and was told by them that her doctor referred her to them and supplied them with her bank info, after blasting these racketeers over the phone they stated that she gave them the bank info over the phone, total c*** company preying on the elderly.
This is such a scam! They took money from our bank account, I had it reversed and now they are mailing past due bills to the house! My husband has dementia and was taken advantage of!
They did the same thing to my mom. Cant something be done? The scammed my dementia mother.
I think they take advantage of elderly people who can not think straight and they use trick question to get them to respond. They will scam and trick them into ordering things they do not need.
Same complaint as everyone else here. Stay Safe Alert just scammed my 98 year old, blind mother with dementia. I noticed the money coming out of her checking account. Called ******************** (never heard of them before) asked them how they got her phone number they said they didn't call her. They said she signed up on her own and she gave them her checking account number, she is house bound so I don't know how she would get the information to make the call. I said that is impossible! She is blind and has dementia. She is... read more
They scammed my mother out of $75 for equipment that she does not need. Stay safe alert charged her $50 for the equipment that they sent, and returned it to her, but there was a $75 cancellation fee. This is a total scam. I don't know how they got her bank account number because she does not have access to that... I am her payee. This business needs a review on their unethical business practices. ********* company.
Same exact issue as everyone else, unit was sent to my 85 yr old Mother and she had no idea what is was and said she did not request it. Further investigation revealed two month's worth of charges to her credit card. I called the company and they said she requested unit, when I asked for proof of the confirmation, like the recording of the call, he stated that person who handles that had passed away and he wouldn't be able to provide that information. My question is, with all of these reviews, how are they still operating and... read more
Unethical sales practices. They scammed my mother who already had a free alert button and monitor service. Witness heard her tell them she didn't need it. Must have called back and caught her on a confused day. Don't know how they got her back account info.
