Be careful when reserving multiple rooms at this place! I wanted to reserve a group of rooms during a high-occupancy weekend in Auburn, but I told the front desk staff that everyone in my party would be arriving on different nights and that everyone would not be staying the entire weekend. We booked this newish hotel for an Auburn game. Paid over $ 100 for game night. Unfriendly staff, towels are very small and worn, faucet in bathroom was quirky. A/C/heater was semi broken-very temperamental. It does have a kitchenette, but with NO pots,dishes, silverware. So bring your own if you want to cook in the room. There is a walmart across the street. Convenient location to the college and to restaurants and fast food. The staff leaves in the evening, so there is no one to field calls for repairs. We stayed here for the first time last week. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't your place. But if you are looking for a comfortable, no-frills, inexpensive place to stay, this is it. Rooms were nice, clean and the room rates are very good, especially for an extended stay. Currently, they run $220 per week. With the kitchen in the room, we were able to save more by not having to eat out every night. Stay Lodge was great we stayed there for three weeks. The rates were awesome and the staff was really friendly. It was great b/c we were able to cook in our rooms (rooms come with stove top) and that also saved a bunch of money by not going out to eat. We will stay there again if we make our way back to Auburn. We definitely will recommend Stay Lodge to our friends.
