“Dr. Stavropoulos has no bedside manner.” This a a direct quote that many of his patients recognize. He is arrogant and embodies the stereotypical “surgeon” personality despite the fact that he is a gastroenterologist. If his procedure goes well then you should consider yourself to be lucky. But if not, then beware because he will not discuss, explain, or answer questions. Fortunately the procedure went well. I made an appointment over a month ago and 3 days before my appointment they call me to tell me they don't take my insurance anymore. Extremely unprofessional. I work in the medical field and you dont just decide to leave the network in a day. Its a process. They could have called me sooner .
Excellent professional staff, Dr Stavropoulos thoroughly explained the procedure and what to expect during recovery. His PA (Hiah) provided excellent followup and answered all of my questions. The results exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Dr Stavropoulos and his team.
Very knowledgeable doctor. He explained everything clearly. The PA that works with him was there as well, taking down notes. I would highly recommend, but next time I will ask for things to be written down for me before the leave. There was so much discussion and several things I had to follow up with as far as additional testing and another doctor.
