5 Stars. Awesome staff and Dr Lawhorn is the best.
I do not have an issue with the doctor, my issues is with the $100 waste disposal fee they charged my husband when he had the root of a tooth removed. I called and they said this is a common practice when disposing of needles, etc. NEVER Have I ever heard of this and neither have any of my friends. They said the charge is not covered under our dental insurance. Please tell me if anyone has heard of this and I really think $100 is a lot for one needle and one tooth root.

Dr. Lawhorn and his staff are awesome! I had 2 lower wisdom teeth removed today and the procedure went quick and well. Everyone was super friendly too.

They took my daughter straight back and were quite caring, capable and efficient.
My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I have to say I am a very happy mom. Prescription pain meds were only needed yesterday and none through the night. She has very little swelling and no bruising. The staff were so friendly and even called yesterday afternoon to check on her. I am so glad we chose Statesboro Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!
Thank you to everyone from the front office to Mrs. V, Cameron, Dr. Lawhorn and all hygienists who took care of me on a recent wisdom teeth extraction -- from consultation to procedure. There could have been so much more anxiety involved, but this office is exceptionally well-versed in caring for patients. Thank you, thank you!
