The staff at Barton Memorial was very welcoming and supportive throughout our ordeal in South Lake Tahoe. Everyone was professional, friendly, cordial and supportive. They saved my 93-year-old mother from congestive heart failure and gave us guidance to improve her care going forward. Small hospital that may not have all the latest bells and whistles, but they more than make up for it with total professionalism and caring. Many staff were themselves born there; now they work there.

Big shout out to the staff and doctors in the ER. Last week my husband severely injured his foot while on a hike. A quick search for an ER sent us to Barton. From the moment we pulled up to when we left, we were well cared for. They got him back promptly, took immediate pain management steps and kept us informed of the process each step. We just had our follow up appointment with a local orthopedic surgeon who said that they set his foot perfectly and surgery may be avoidable! Thank you so much Barton ER!
