I've never eaten here, but I received a gift certificate from work and had a question about how to redeem it. But when I messaged them, they read the message and BLATANTLY ignored me, even after the 2nd time. What a TERRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL first impression to make. I won't make the mistake of giving this place my business again.
Today we went in because I’ve been wanting a banana split. I should have know to walk out the door when she didn’t look up to greet us. I ordered my banana split and she went from whatever she was doing to make it. When I asked her if she could get me another banana and was her hands before fixing it, she got upset and tossed the banana to the side. This told me that I needed to go some place else. We had a party of 7 that was going to eat and get ice cream. Ended up at 620 state instead!!!
RecommendedIt's a great an quiet, friendly place to go an eat. The food was delicious everything was hot and prepared just the way I wanted it And the ice cream was amazing an I have not been able to find Hershey's ice cream like that with so many different types of flavors in the whole Tri-Citys area . what they have at State Street sweet an eats is amazing the food and the ice cream are to die for. I give it 5 stars
We spent over $20 for just 2 people including ice cream but no drinks. We got our Food to go and the food was gross. We got pulled pork and mushroom swiss burgers and the pulled pork was extremely spicy and the mushroom and swiss didn't have the mushrooms all the way cooked. Chilli cheese fries were not any better. Chilli tasted cheep and fries were not done. Ice cream was gross as well. I love state street sweet an eats!!!! Their ice cream it takes me back to when I was a kid with all them fun memories I had with my family an freinds when it was kays . Their ice cream is the best around . Plus those weman are great cooks .I must say so my self. ;)
Great cafe for sandwiches, ices and refreshments. Visited here from England in October 2016 and had a friendly and welcoming experience from the proprietors�
Today a friend of mine walked to there to eat and he sat there for over 20 min and no one would wait on him. He got up and walked out. The waitress decided to follow him out and he told her a few words of where she can stick the burger. It's a shame someone can't get something to eat.
