I’ve lived here long enough to know that the fire alarms going off has become a regular occurrence rather than an emergency. It’s not unusual for the alarm to sound monthly, often at inconvenient hours, forcing residents to evacuate or wake up in the middle of the night. Had to move our grad student in a month early; everyone was very helpful. Professional, helpful, & prompt office & maintenance staff. Our child lived in the same setup in another state; State on Campus is more responsive w/ much better communication.

This is probably one of the biggest scams among apartment complexes in Morgantown. Many of the positive reviews are incentivized, as management harasses people over texts and emails asking residents to leave reviews and doesn't stop until you do so. Whatever you expect your monthly rent to be, plan on paying at least an additional $150 (PER PERSON). All of the staff-office and maintenance-are very responsive and helpful. They took great care of our daughter the 3 years she lived at The State.
