I ordered the grilled chicken with roasted vegetables, and everything was fresh and nicely prepared. We saved room for a slice of pie afterward, which turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was comfortable, and it felt like the kind of place that's just as good for a casual lunch as it is for dinner.
Good food, a cozy diner feel, and our primary waitress was super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, a major safety concern ruined the visit. I stick to decaf for medical reasons. A different staff member started pouring regular coffee into my cup before asking, pouring about 1/4 cup in before I could stop her. When I mentioned I needed decaf, she casually told me, "I don't think that little bit is going to hurt you."
