State Heating & Air was assigned to home warranty claim for furnace. The tech (Ray) came out on Fri, Dec 12, 2025, advised cleaned furnace drain (advised he removed debris put them in the basement sink - regular bathroom, why put down a drain to clog and not a bucket). I wasn’t aware an error light on furnace until tech left. Immediately called to see if he could come back, had literally just left. Our warranty company hired these guys to come look at our furnace. They came out the next day & told us the blower motor was bad. Ordered a new one which took a week to come in (not their fault) had a technician come out to put it in. Tech said we were good to go. And hour later our house was even colder than before. Called multiple times over the next 3 days to get them back out with no response. Finally called out someone else to find out that not only did they order the wrong blower motor but because they still used the w... read more
Was so disappointed with State. Oct 17th we called our home warranty company to have someone come out and look at our boiler system. They came multiple times, never would turn quotes into HW company, seemed like being at our house was a bother, and were a nightmare to communicate with. Boiler was finally fixed today on January 30th…by another company.

I was calling to get an estimate on my mom's hvac and the owner answered and was very rude and just tried to force me to make an appointment which I did. Before we hung up I asked him for the name of the company and the phone number he gave me the wrong number. So I googled the company name and came straight to the reviews and after reading the reviews I called and canceled.
