We’re been coming here for years. The lodge is NOT a safe place to be during the pandemic. Recently visited for a couple of nights in a private cabin, only venturing to the main lodge to pick up to-go food to eat in our room, but sadly must report that there is zero enforcement of mask-wearing and social distancing in the lodge. Those wearing masks were a tiny minority here during our two-day overnight visit, with dozens of visitors closely gathering in large groups in enclosed common areas. RecommendedPeaceful quiet rooms. great food breakfast lunch or dinner. yet to try the lounge.
Trails were good and somewhat busy. Food was great, service very good for what the staff had to do extra with all the spaced out restrictions. very nice wait staff, but short staffed!
we stayed at the lodge back in August...really enjoyed it...now we are gonna stay in the hotel
Great vistas and the dining is delicious.
Just a beautiful piece of gods hand! If I didn’t have to climb so many steps...I just love the wonderment of one of gods creations, go escape Chicago or life for a bit of relaxation!
Will be back for sure!!!!
