I have stored my camper here since it was new in 2011. Since then it has been broken into twice, messed with multiple times, and moved without my consent countless times. Most recent break in was Jan 2021 when they stole and did more than $8k in damage / stolen items. There are several homeless people living there. Also trash piles abound! Recently (beginning of Oct 2021) it has come under new management (not new ownership) and the new manager is demanding I provided proof of payment before he releases the gate code. Stars and Stripes RV and Boat Storage is about the cheapest location you can find to store a boat or RV. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. In a period of 10 months, I've had both batteries and my spare tire stolen. While I now make sure to either lock or remove these items before storing, this is unacceptable. Apparently, many others have had items stolen or even their trailer broken into. I've had my camper there for a number of years without problems, but this past year some semi-wrecked RVs moved in. It appears to me that those RV owners are using Stars & Stripes for more than just storage. In the past year I've had my license plates stolen, my RV cover melted when one of the wrecked ones caught fire, and my coach battery stolen in separate incidents. Until they're able to clear out this undesirable element I would hesitate to store anything of value here.
