We are Platte Park's newest Aveda Concept Salon located on South Broadway in the heart of Antique Row of Denver, Colorado. We are a team of passionate stylists that specialize in amazing hair color, technical hair cuts, precision facial waxing and gorgeous makeup applications. We believe in the Aveda Mission of protecting this earth and it's inhabitants, along with the Starling Mission of being genuinely nice people who love what we do.

Hallie is a dream stylist! She’s got moxie, keeps in the know of all things color, style and cut. I feel so lucky to be in her chair. She is mindful and smart and possesses a positive vibe. Don’t wait to book but if she is booked anyone of the Starling professionals are experts and can help your vision happen! The salon is clean, chill lounge seating and welcoming front desk staff too! Update: I have been following Hallie for 10 years now.. she’s that good.
Starling Salon has been my go to for so many years I cant even remember when I started going here. The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. Of course my stylist Hallie is my favorite but every single stylist in there is super talented and you will not leave there disappointed. The front desk staff is also kind and always have sweets. I LOVE this place!!!
I’ve been going to Starling for 6 years now. I love the consistency of the staff and the customer service. Friendly environment. Quality Aveda products. Ramon is great with color and working with curly, unruly hair!
I’ve been getting my hair done by Emily for 6 months and she’s the best! She’s so creative and I always leave the salon happy! If you’re looking for fun colors and a great cut, she’s your girl. The salon itself is clean and cute, and the staff is friendly and customer oriented. Highly suggest!

I will never return again... my hair is fried. The owner and staff spend more time gossiping than they do on client's hair. They are rude, unprofessional and fail to understand the basics of doing hair. Please take your business and hair somewhere else...
I would give Starling a million stars if I could. I've been seeing Emily for four years now and she is the most amazing stylist ever. She has taken both me and my sister from the darkest browns to the lightest of blondes flawlessly. She is patient and easy-going and will treat you and your hair with the utmost care.
