Loved wandering through here and seeing the lovely yarn. I adore my tape measure bracelet, I still think this is the most amazing idea ever!! Also, I should say love the yarn I bought, it was so hard to choose from all wonderful choices. Sometimes I go into a shop and don't find anything I like, rarely do I have to fight with myself about what to buy.
Thank zod for the friendly folks behind the counter at SKS, who have helped me figure out project dilemmas and given me a more relaxed attitude toward knitting. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, and there's always something inspiring on the shelves.
This is an excellent shop! Fantastic yarns and great people! I was visiting from Kentucky and couldn't resist picking up some Hedgehog Fibers!
This is my favorite shop in Portland. Everyone (customers included) is super friendly and when I hit a snag in a pattern, help is always available. Starlight has a good mix of yarns and notions at various price points so there's really something for everyone.
I visited Starlight during the Yarn Crawl and loved this shop! It has such a intimate warm feeling and the classroom is great. Beautiful light and a nice spacious space. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
