RecommendedI’ve been a crocheter for a long time now and have recently gotten into knitting. I love coming to Starlight for advice. The staff is always so understanding and give great tips and suggestions! The space is cozy and inviting. As a beginner, I am never intimidated walking in to find what I need. I can’t wait for in person Wednesdays meet ups to start again. I love finding inspiration from fellow knitters!

I don’t live in Portland, so it’s always a treat to go to the Starlight Knitting Society store. Everyone was warm and friendly, and the store atmosphere organized and welcoming and inclusive! I felt like a knitter among knitters there, and that my learning curve was not only acceptable, but encouraged…
I visited the Starlight Knitting Society today for the first time. What a great place! It’s very comfortable, warm, and has the nicest, most helpful staff. The have a large variety of yarn and it’s well organized. They even wound my hanks into cakes for me while I waited. I will visit often!

Selection - only the BEST! Service - likewise!
I was just in Portland and this was the sixth shop I stopped in. Staff was fabulous. The individualized help was amazing. I ended up with two beautiful new sweaters to knit. The Guthrie and the Comfort Fade. Thank you Hilary for all your help.
