My husband and I chose Starlight for a date night. We have three kids and don't get out as often as we would like. We wanted this night to be special. From the warm greeting at the door, to the personable waiter who helped us make fantastic drink and food decisions, to the location right by the window to soak in the Greenville night scape: It was all perfect! My first visit there was a work invite for a drug rep presentation. The staff were very pleasant, but we waited almost 2 hours if not longer for our food. Mind you there was a big group of us so nothing was said, but when I received my food the wilted greens were very gritty. That's something that just can't be excused in my book, didn't ask for a side of dirt with my greens.
Continuously welcoming and original, Starlight stands an example of excellence amongst all the southern fried, mediocre chains, and bargain barrel sports bars. Always professional and always satisfying. weekdays were meant for the simple, but weekend brunches were meant for Starlight waffles. Love it.
One of the best restaurants in Greenville, by far! Love the locally farmed food (much from their own farm), the new brunch, the baked oysters, the wonderful family who runs it, and the great cocktails by Jimmy Infinito!
