Great thin crust Pizza – They make Pizza like it should be made....on corn meal and with a thin crust. Ask for the fresh mushrooms instead of canned. Micro brew selection is a bit limited, but if you like Deschutes products, its on tap.
the best i have ever had – i have been gone from oregon for about 15 years. now that i am home i need to get some pizza. it was a Sunday night Oct. 16 around 9:45 at night. I showed up and found out that they close at 10pm. the manager was very kind and alowed me to order a pizza that would make him stay late. i was very greatful for his kindness. i will be back soon.
THE LAST STRAW! – Been going there for years, but now forced to find another pizza place to spend my money. Last pizza was way overcooked which made the crust very unappetizing and ruined the enjoyment. Most of staff fooling around and what happens at the salad bar with customers is disgusting! Need to go very late since children are allowed to run all over, loud, obnoxious and families don't watch their children or keep them in line. worlds very best – been going to stark street pizza and love it , would not go any where else
fraudagmar – I was highly disappointed when dining at Stark Street. The pizza was like a "wanna be" New York Pizza. Which, if you have had it, you know what I mean. The atmosphere was confusing, is it a sports bar? A gambling joint? A restaurant.? There was excessive socialization among the working crew. This was a detriment to customers waiting to be seated and served.
Good food right here! – Stark Street Pizza is probably one of the best pizza establishments around. We've tried other places but always go back to Stark Street. The food is wonderful, the employees are all very friendly and the salad bar is first rate. It's a comfortable surrounding and we reccomend it highly.
Stark Street Pizza (formerly The Pizza Baron)has always been a favorite. My husband and I went there frequently while dating and go back everytime we are in the Portland area. The atmosphere is great. So lively and friendly. After thirty years it is great to be able to "go back" a little bit!
Cool restaurant, great food – With all the sports memorabilia and antiques, this restaurant has a retro feel to it. The pizza's not foo-foo yuppy food. It's old fashioned corn meal crust and quality ingredients make this pizza one the whole family will enjoy.
36 Year old Pizza – Secret is in the sauce at Stark Street Pizza.......Try it you won't be dissappointed! We have been going there since 1966!!! And we try to eat there a few times a month. My family could eat there everyday if you gave them that option. We love Stark Street Pizza, cause quite frankly, It is that Damn good!!!
