I was just in this store, it was not busy and there were maybe 6 employees. A young man was sitting quietly charging his phone when I assume a manager told him to buy something or leave. I got him a gift card to get a drink on my way out. This is just disheartening, it wasn’t busy, he was silently sitting there hurting nothing, he was carrying a lot so possibly homeless or waiting for the bus and just charging his phone. I am guessing this is a store policy, but it’s crap. Have a heart, it hurts no one to be kind.
Yesterday I dropped my credit card out the window when trying to pay. Door wouldn’t open because I was parked so close to the window The barista immediately ran outside and got under my car to retrieve my card. She was so kind and sweet about it it was obviously so embarrassing and she was so fast she did it before I could even explain to my kids in the car what had happened and have them help me get the card.
