Online states open till 9pm, ( it's only 3:25pm ). Sign at drive thru says " cafe open ", but it's dark and empty. Please update online when closing early.
They temporarily close at random times, can't trust they'll be open so I'll go elsewhere. It's happened multiple times, today they were closed at peak lunch time, 12:30pm. Not sure why.
Don’t cross the picket line! Support local coffee shops. These baristas have been working hard to stand up for their workers rights and against union busting. Union busting is happening everywhere, including this Merle Hay Starbucks! Go to a local coffee shop, twisted bean is right down the street! If you do visit, ask managers why they are union busting their employees and attempting to fire a union employee after her husband DIED because she joined the pickett line. NO CONTRACT NO COFFEE!!
I don’t think I’ve ever been told that I wasn’t able to get a cup of ice water. “This is a corporate location and we don’t do that here.” I told them that I get ice water at other Starbucks with no issue. All they said was “thanks for your understanding.”
It is open late and the music isn't too loud to have a conversation and socialize.
