Went through the drive through. Barista taking my order had the worst attitude. Later then tried to play it off once she saw she came off as mean. And the drink was watered down as well after i had asked if the drink could have light ice.
This cool crisp autumn morning I went nextdoor to pick up my usual order, that pecan oat milk cortado. Chat, i’m not joking when I say that the barista who prepared my espresso today deserves to be kissed passionately on the lips for it. Never in my life has a stranger put so much love into espresso for me. As I trudge through miserable long work days and cold dark drives home I look for little things to appreciate.
