The manager walked right past me without making eye contact even though I was standing at the counter and I then proceeded to wait 10 minutes for service because she and another employee were discussing non-work related items because she “was on break”. During that time the baristas who were managing the window and espresso bar had a order returned and that was clearly made wrong because the acknowledged it and then talked very very poorly about the customer who returned it right even front of me. Worst Starbucks in the area took 30mins for two coffees
I could go on forever about how awesome each staff member is. Gina, especially, is the reason I’m writing this review. She helped me with a refund I was avoiding because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but she made the whole thing super easy and was really understanding and kind. Big shout out to Gina! I love coming here.
This Starbucks had me all nostalgic: low ceilings, cottagey feel, warm and intimate environment, old school layout... It was great. Well staffed and clean. I held back a star because my loaf was obviously older (stiff, stale), and I watched the barista make my drink wrong. He ignored a direction and then completely forgot one of the ingredients. I'm glad I was standing there so I could talk to him about it rather than discovering the issue down the road.
