his Starbucks location in the student center is just okay. The drinks don’t really taste like legit Starbucks the flavor and consistency are a bit off compared to other locations. It’s convenient if you’re already in the area and need a quick caffeine fix, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Overall, it does the job, but it’s nothing special.
They had shut down the espresso machine way before close. I’ve worked in coffee before, and if there is one thing you don’t pack up early, it’s the espresso machine. And I understand trying to clean up early and reduce the time it takes to close—that’s not a bad thing—but shutting down the espresso machine is ridiculous, especially when you have customers walking to come see you. Overall, the service is poor and careless.
