I ordered ahead on the Starbucks app, but my drink wasn’t ready at the time the app promised. When I asked, the staff bluntly told me my order was “pushed back in line because of their algorithm” and suggested I just take a refund. On top of that, the way it was said came across as rude and dismissive. As someone who literally drinks Starbucks every day, it’s disappointing to see both the app and the customer service fall short. The manager just told me sorry I’m not open yet. I said oh ok well it says 7 online. She said I know but I’m not open yet. Ok so how long I said she said maybe 30 mins. So basically an hour late is what you’re saying. Wow.
