Not too impressed with this store. It happens to be a licensed outlet with sad coffee, not too pleasant seating arrangements and inferior service. I stopped by today for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee served was lukewarm prompting me to ask for a fresh cup. And even that was lukewarm. At day’s end I paid Starbucks rates plus Enbassy Suites markup for convenience store coffee
Very disappointed with my experience. If a store’s posted opening time is 5:30 AM, it should be open and ready to serve customers at that time. I arrived at 5:40 AM and the employee was still not prepared for opening and didn’t even bother unlocking the door. As a customer, I expect businesses to honor their posted hours. There should be no excuses for being unprepared after the scheduled opening time.
1 star across the board. You also get to pay a 22% or more tip for a truly cruddy experience. I have been here 5 or so times and each time it’s bad. Cups half fullish, staff looks at you like you’re asking them to help you move to another state, hotel atmosphere is a hotel, which is usually fine but this is the worst I’ve seen of its kind. Metrics likely look good at corp since there is a dearth of coffee downtown… come on coffee entrepreneurs (or Corp Starbucks) we need an intervention in Tampa. Apparently they close at 5:03 and not 5:30. Doors were locked when I tried to open them
The service was extremely disappointing. My name was written on the order in a way that made it impossible to recognize(and it’s the only way to recognize your order in Starbucks). Because of that, another customer took my drink. When it was reported and I returned the untouched drink, I was given the wrong item — just some kind of water with juice instead of what I originally ordered, and I was still charged $7.
