I had banana nut bread and water. No way to go wrong with that order. Friendly service.
Don’t come through here often but this is the second time I couldn’t pay with the app or credit card. They said mobile orders or cash only? I’ve been to a ton of other Starbucks and have NEVER had that. But here twice? Weird. The dude behind the counter sounded like he hated his life and couldn’t even articulate to me how I was supposed to order. Treating everyone like we were annoying him. He’s prob annoyed though from things not working. Who knows. Maybe a bad day.
The team was down to two staff out front. With that, the line was moving slower. HOWEVER, the two team members were working so exceptionally hard and were just going non stop. They were handling all of the drink and food orders and had a really smooth system between bouncing back and forth to the cash register. Don’t think my hot grande Americano has 3 shots if espresso. Very weak. I watch the lady make the coffee. She immediately picked up a cup of espresso (?) off the machine and poured it into a (my) cup which I found a little odd at the time. She then picked up the label for my coffee to see what she was making. She didn’t create a new shot for my drink. Also, my spouse thinks the barista didn’t put the brown sugar into her drink. I think the barista needs more training. Definitely disappointed!
