I went in on a day that is over a 100 degrees and asked for a simple cup of water and was refused serviced because I didn’t buy anything else I offered to pay for a cup of water and was denied unacceptable service in this heat.

I’ve visited Starbucks stores all over the world, and this was the first time I’ve ever had an experience like this. There is a long line. I kindly asked the barista if he could please fill my water bottle with some tap water while I waited, as I was feeling very thirsty. To my surprise, he flatly refused and said they don’t provide water unless you place an order. I understand they were busy but the server let me know to go to the next windows to take my order then I went to the wrong window and instead of letting me know she proceeded to take the order of a large party and I had already been waiting in line.
