Extremely disappointing experience at the Starbucks in San José Mineta International Airport, Terminal B. My mom ordered a drink with extra ice and light lemonade. When she received the drink, she explained that she had specifically asked for extra ice. Instead of simply correcting the drink or addressing the issue professionally, the barista insisted that my mom had asked for light ice and argued with her about what she had ordered. We stopped at Starbucks in the San Jose Airport before our flight, and as I always do at airports, I ordered ahead on the app. This airport was actually much less busy than some of the others we’ve been through, so there wasn’t much of a line anyway, but ordering ahead made it even easier. We were able to walk up, grab our drinks, and head right back to our gate. My daughter ordered the Lemonade Butterfly Refresher with boba. I genuinely hope this location shuts down. The baristas were so rude and unhelpful. I asked for a cup of water with my order, and the cashier told me to get water at the container at the end. However, it was (visibly) empty. When I brought this up, she told me tell the baristas at the end. When I went to the end to tell one of the baristas, she looked so disgusted and did not fill it up.
