The drink itself was fine, but the ice-to-liquid ratio was way off. A little over half the cup was ice, with very little drink left once it settled.
So—it’s January 1, 2026, and I’m officially off for my birthday. Yesterday, December 31, 2025, I turned 60. The Starbucks near my home, inside Target, refused to honor my birthday reward, while Target’s POS system spontaneously offered me a 5% birthday discount. Just heard your employee, Miguel, very excited to tell his coworker that he had gotten a compliment from a customer. Really made my day hearing someone proud of themselves, I suspect this man, Miguel, actually cares about customer service, unlike 90% of the businesses in this town. Much appreciated brother. Was listening to the new twenty one pilots album, when I was approached by a young man who works for Starbucks, named Joy. He said something to me, but because I am hearing impaired I didn't catch what he said the first or the second time... Then he said, "you need to turn the music down!" I said, Oh yeah sorry. I can't hear very well. This is still the best Starbucks in Napa. But it is pretty discouraging to be treated that way.. I'm sure he's just having a bad day.
