When people ask me why I no longer support Starbucks, I won’t even bring up the situation below. Absolutely disgusting behavior from this Starbucks. My friend—who literally goes there almost every day—had her car break down in 115-degree Arizona heat. She went inside with her 8-year-old child to wait for help, and not only did the staff REFUSE to give them water, they had the nerve to come up and tell them they couldn’t be there. I’ve always gone to this location regularly, but after what I witnessed today, I won’t be returning. A family whose car had broken down was kicked off the property and refused water, even with a child present. In Arizona heat, that’s not just heartless, it’s dangerous. I asked the woman if they were okay, and she told me she comes to Starbucks daily and spends money here.
