came in after the new owners took over. place looks much nicer but since the GM has left not the same outstanding service.

I’ve been coming here since 1999. I’ve seen waitresses come and go. It seems they are now hiring junkies. At least one. They aren’t hip and eclectic like the previous staff. Still rude, uncaring to give good service. Food: I stick with what I already like. They’re eye opener is excellent. Migas, and the breakfast tacos rock. And their austin coffee is delish. Place is not much on looks but awesome food. Best chicken fried steak and pepper gravy ever. Service was great and reasonably priced. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite.
I used to live in Avalon around the bend back in the day in the 80s. Still dining there, now.
