Great food, quick service. My only complaint? The girl that cleared the table, (not the waitress) didn't check to be sure we were done before she started clearing our dishes, one of which still had Milkshake in it. 🤦🏻♀️👎🏻Other than that, it was great.

I've been there a few times the food has always been good but went there yesterday asked for a BLT. Asked for no mayo. The lady even wrote no mayo on the ticket. Watching the guys make my food and saw them put mayo on my BLT then whip it off with his apron. What kinda service is this? It took everything I had not to throw my BLT back at the cook. But just a heads if you go eat here make sure you sit at the bar so you can watch the cooks make your food.
If you have never been, The Star Drug Store is on of the must stop in Galveston! The food is simply great ! It is a breakfast or lunch type place. Or get off the Strand long enough for an old fashion fountain treat. It closes at 3 or 4 pm depending on day of the week. All the stuff in the show cases is for sale too!
Excellent breakfast! Star Drug offers that great diner experience we all need!
Food was amazing. Milkshakes were delicious. Loved the small town feel of it.
