RecommendedFinally made my way back in after 9 months. Staff was amazing and upbeat. Food is good as always. Try the patty melt!

We had a wonderful lunch in that rich historical setting. Had always gone to breakfast there when visiting the island. The food was great but the fountain desserts were AWESOME. Yes we had to wait for a table. Yes we had to wait for our food. But the Lava Cake with ice cream was well worth it😊

Went there for brunch on Sunday. Wife had omelette that was kinda boring, not much flavor. I had the Reuben. The meat looked like it came out of a grocery store pre cut bag. The sauerkraut wasn’t very good. On an upside note, the potato salad that came with the sandwich was really good. Had dill in the recipe which sounded weird to me but was quite good. Someone ordered a burger which looked yummy. I’ll go back and try that.

We came across this place looking for some breakfast. We loved it . Food was great and staff was very friendly. Also loved the old fashion feel of the place.
Of all the resturants we ate at in Galveston, The Star Drug Store was my favorite. Food is excellent, service was like we had known them all our lives. I love the music too.... — in Galveston, Texas.
